Zynga needed to forecast revenue across their entire mobile gaming portfolio eight quarters into the future, optimize cross-channel advertising spend across four major channels, and develop a pricing strategy that accounted for regional economic differences.

Solution

We developed time-series revenue forecasting models leveraging Google TimesFM foundation model, achieving 23% improvement in forecast accuracy. We designed a Bayesian mixed-media marketing attribution model and built a geo-based pricing optimization framework using purchasing power parity indices.

TritonX was developing a wearable medical device for hydration and blood pressure monitoring, with a focus on reducing emergency room readmissions among elderly patients. They needed a novel algorithm for hydration estimation using bioimpedance and skin reactance signals.

Solution

We led the R&D effort to design and develop a hydration estimation algorithm using self-supervised learning, advanced feature engineering, and signal processing techniques. We provided systems engineering support to integrate the algorithm into the product architecture.

Impact

Clinical trials demonstrated that the hydration monitoring system reduced ER readmission rates among elderly patients by 20%. The product remains in active development toward regulatory approval and market launch.

Dexcom (Valencell) sought to develop a cuff-less, non-invasive blood pressure monitoring system that could be embedded in multiple wearable form factors and licensed to OEM partners. The solution needed to meet ISO/IEEE accuracy standards.

Solution

We led hands-on development of core deep learning algorithms over seven years using Keras, TensorFlow, and PyTorch, including transformer architectures. We built and managed the data science team from the ground up and trained models on a dataset of over 3,000 participants.

Impact

Successfully integrated advanced biometrics into Dexcom's multi-form-factor OEM product suite. The work contributed to Dexcom's acquisition by a major healthcare technology company.

Challenge

The Department of Defense required multi-modal sensor platforms for detection, classification, and tracking across diverse operational contexts, with adaptive fusion algorithms capable of integrating sonar, radar, and imaging data.

Solution

Over seven years, we served as Principal Investigator on multiple Phase I and Phase II SBIR/STTR contracts. We developed sensor fusion systems using Bayesian inference and created super-resolution imaging, 360-degree day/night vision systems, and real-time radar simulations.

Impact

Delivered mission-critical capabilities with measurable improvements in detection and classification performance. Systems were delivered as both prototypes and operationally deployed solutions for naval missions.
